Curiosity is free. The subscriptions, sadly, are not.

I've always had a soft spot for a side hustle. Nothing involving getting up at four in the morning or buying half of Facebook Marketplace. Just something I could look into after work and perhaps earn enough to treat my wife occasionally.

I discovered matched betting through a Facebook group connected to a friend, started with Profit Accumulator's introductory tutorial and initially checked everything about three times.

Then I discovered gubbing: promotions disappeared, stakes were limited and accounts were restricted. The straightforward part of the journey had a shelf life.

Naturally, I went looking for alternatives. I've used Outplayed, OddsMonkey, Profit Maximiser and Tip the Scales, and investigated a number of other systems. Some impressed me. Others seemed much cleverer in the sales material than they did in practice.

I still enjoy the puzzle. This site is where I explore which products genuinely suit different people at different stages — including when keeping your money is the better choice.
